The Office of the Secretary, Reentry Unit is recruiting to fill a Reentry Programs Coordinator (Program & Policy Analyst Advanced) position. This position is based out of the DOC central office in Madison, WI.
Position SummaryThis position is responsible for providing professional direction and statewide coordination in program development, implementation and evaluation of cross-divisional and cross-agency Reentry programs and projects. This position plays a critical role in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the Windows to Work Program in the State’s Workforce Development Board (WDB) areas and provides employment program oversight across the state.
This position is also responsible for the coordination and support of Reentry cross-divisional programs and projects including the administration of internal and external grant projects. This includes building cross-jurisdictional bridges with state, county, tribal, and local criminal justice and human service agencies, providing technical assistance and collaborative support for evidence-based programs and projects.
Salary InformationThis position is in pay schedule and range 07-03 with a starting pay of $58718 - $96907 per year, plus excellent benefits
. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A 12-month probationary period is required.

The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
NOTE:
This position is eligible to work remotely up to 3 days per week.
The qualifications listed below will be evaluated in the first step of the selection process and must be clearly described in the letter of qualifications and resume.
Minimally qualified applicants will have experience:
- Implementing, facilitating, and/or managing correctional and/or workforce development programming.
- Working with reentry or employment programs and/or evidence-based practices.
In addition to the above, well-qualified applicants will have experience:
- Managing a program budget.
- Assisting with the management of projects across several agencies/organizations.
- Analyzing policies and procedures and providing guidance to staff regarding program implementation.
