Regional Campaigns Directors support and serve as the daily point of contact between a portfolio of Assembly campaigns and the caucus. This role reports directly to the Deputy Executive Director and the Executive Director, and supports candidates in a region of Wisconsin and manages campaign staff on the ground. The ideal candidate has experience managing competitive campaigns, managing campaign staff, strong organizational skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment and hold candidates accountable to their campaign plans.

The Wisconsin Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee (WI ADCC) is the only Democratic organization solely focused on recruiting, training, and electing Democrats to the Wisconsin State Assembly. With new legislative maps, we are fighting for a Democratic Majority in 2026!
Regional Campaigns Director Role
Regional Campaigns Directors support and serve as the daily point of contact between a portfolio of Assembly campaigns and the caucus. This role reports directly to the Deputy Executive Director and supports candidates in a region of Wisconsin and manages campaign staff on the ground. The ideal candidate has experience managing competitive campaigns, managing campaign staff, strong organizational skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment and hold candidates accountable to their campaign plans.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for a portfolio of candidates assisting with aspects of their campaign, including but not limited to: canvassing, fundraising, budgeting, event planning, and paid media support. They should focus their efforts on targeted campaigns.
- Hold assigned candidates accountable to their campaign plans, including canvassing and fundraising goals, and reporting to ADCC senior staff regularly
- Manage weekly conference calls for targeted campaigns in a structured and professional fashion to assist with earned and paid media plans, field operations, and fundraising
- Coordinate with ADCC's mail and digital vendors to help manage the caucus' buy-in media program and assist with approvals process
- Train and coach campaign staff, including Campaign Managers and Field Organizers, in collaboration with the Deputy Executive Director and Field Director
- Ensure proper communication between campaigns, DPW's coordinated campaign, consultant teams, and the caucus
- Assist other ADCC staff with fundraising and opposition research, regional and statewide candidate summits and training
- Develop relationships with political stakeholders, allied organizations, and local Democratic committees including county parties
- On-year requirements include working outside of normal work hours; including canvassing, traveling across the state, and other election-preparation as needed.
Qualifications
- At least one (1) cycle of paid campaign management of a state legislative race
- At least one (1) cycle of staff management experience
- Experience fundraising and managing a budget
- Quick problem-solving skills and solutions-oriented mindset. Must be able to take, give, and implement feedback
- Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines at once and keep calm in stressful situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Experience with Vote builder and NGP
- Reliable access to a computer and personal transportation is required
- Ability to serve as a representative of the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee and our policies, including neutrality as directed
Location
Regional Campaigns Directors must be willing to relocate within their assigned turf within 30 days of start date, unless otherwise agreed to by ADCC Deputy Executive Director, ADCC Executive Director, and Leadership. We are hiring for the following regions:
- Western Wisconsin (La Crosse, Eau Claire)
- North-Eastern Wisconsin (Green Bay, Fox Valley)
- Southern Wisconsin (Milwaukee)
