Base Pay

$48,000.00 per year + personal performance and store bonuses! (with bonus≈$53,000.00+ per year)

Job Summary

The Salon Director drives store performance, fosters superior client service, and maintains operational excellence to meet or exceed established productivity goals. This individual manages and supervises tanning consultants to achieve company goals and leads by example in all company operations. The Salon Director fosters a sense of urgency to achieve objectives and holds the team accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience.

Tasks

& Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Lead by example in all company operations, creating a client‑centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
  • Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
  • Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.
  • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve team members’ daily performance.
  • Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and perform all other required Salon Director functions as dictated by your District/Regional Manager and company training programs and policies.
  • Control top‑line revenue and expenses.
  • Maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while controlling labor costs.
  • Work nights & weekends as required to ensure proper staffing and quality service are maintained.
  • Work a 5‑day workweek (≈40‑45 hrs per week) or more as required to maintain brand standards.
Experience
  • Some management and/or sales experience required.
  • Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage effectively in a fast‑paced environment, handling multiple situations simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
  • Problem‑solving and organizational/planning skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor.
  • Team‑building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
  • Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
  • Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
  • Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
