Student Affairs Manager
The Multicultural Center Manager leads the day-to-day operations of the Wisconsin School of Business Multicultural Center, including student engagement initiatives, partnership development, staff supervision, resource management, and program assessment. As part of the integrated Multicultural Center, Business Emerging Leaders (BEL), and Precollege Programs portfolio, the Manager also coordinates cross-unit initiatives and operational priorities that advance student success, strengthen program effectiveness, and support strategic goals across the portfolio.
The position works closely with the Director to implement unit priorities and advance the mission of the Multicultural Center.
Key
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages student success programs and services
- Oversees Multicultural Center operations and resources
- Supervises graduate staff and student employees
- Manages budgets and administrative functions
- Leads assessment, reporting, and continuous improvement activities
- Develops and maintains stakeholder partnerships
- Supports school-wide student success initiatives
Advises and enforces Institution policies related to services in Student Affairs
May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
Serves as the program or unit liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups
Schedules logistics and secures resources to support the operational plans of the program or unit
Plans, organizes, administers, and manages processes and operations related to assigned area(s) of responsibility
May monitor the program budget and approve expenditures
Monitors, evaluates, and modifies processes, procedures, and/or standards, ensuring alignment with the Institution's mission, values, goals, and objectives, as well as all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Compensation:
The minimum salary for the position is $58,500. Actual starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications. Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in student affairs, student success, higher education administration, academic support, advising, retention, recruitment, or related areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supervising staff and managing complex programs or initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to create welcoming environments where students feel connected, supported, and engaged.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required.
