What You’ll Do
- Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting mechanical equipment and production issues
- Design and improve fixtures, tooling, and mechanical components using CAD (Solid Works preferred)
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and support of new and existing equipment
- Develop and maintain mechanical documentation, drawings, and SOPs
- Partner with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, and EHS teams on process improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and reliability
- Provide hands-on support on the production floor as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a production setting
- Experience with mechanical design, tooling, fixtures, or equipment support
- Proficiency with CAD software (Solid Works strongly preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Experience supporting plastic injection molding processes, molds, or molding equipment
- Familiarity with manufacturing automation or process troubleshooting
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (chemical, pharmaceutical, food, or similar)
- Exposure to equipment installation, commissioning, or capital projects
- Hands-on engineering role with real production impact
