Manufacturing Technician

Shift: Mon to Fri, 7am to 3pm
Duration: 12 Months
Pay range: $22.00 Hourly - $22.00 Hourly

Responsibilities

• The Manufacturing Technician position will be responsible for the building of various complex scientific instruments to support the production goals of a work cell. You will be part of an engaging team and collaborate with your colleagues to solve problems and drive continuous improvement!
• Build, test, and calibrate all levels of assemblies and install in the final build of instruments that meet quality standards.
• Follow work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies, material handling, and inventory verification.
• Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team culture.

Required Experience
High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Preferred Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with mechanical assembly, various hand tools, and soldering.
• Have experience with following work instructions in work assembly.

Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting of 50 pounds, frequent lifting of 25 pounds, and constant lifting of 10 pounds may be necessary.

Skills:

• Work will include assembly of fiber optic instruments and pipette testing.
• Attention to detail and confidence with hand tools is essential.
• Electronics assembly knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Able to work with team and have good communication.
• Being able to work in a cooperative Environment.
