We’re seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team and help create high‑quality metal components that support our production goals.

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Calculate bend allowances for various material types and thicknesses
• Select proper punch and die tooling
• Set up, adjust, and operate the brake press to perform a wide variety of operations on a diversified line of work
• Set up, adjust, and operate the brake press to run prototype jobs and new parts orders
• Write set‑up sheets and understand advanced programming functions
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment and document inspection data
• Clean and organize work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

• One-year college or technical certificate, OR 5+ years related experience/training with a high school diploma/GED, or an equivalent mix of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions, memos, manuals, and procedures
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to clearly communicate information one‑on‑one or in small groups
• Basic math skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and calculating rates, ratios, and percentages
• Ability to apply common‑sense understanding to follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions and solve routine problems with concrete variables

• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to lift
