Sanitation Operator - 2nd​/3rd shift

• Follow, understand, and abide by all sanitation procedures and document sanitation activities using the master sanitation schedule.
• Utilize hand tools to disassemble equipment in order to facilitate cleaning, complete inspections/recleaning, and re‑assemble equipment upon completion.
• Properly and safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Follow all Company Rules, including the HACCP Program, LOTO, and GMP Policy.
• Climb stairs and ladders, work in confined spaces, or at heights to access hard-to‑reach areas in cold, hot, wet, or dusty environments.
• Work with power equipment such as forklifts, high‑pressure systems, scissor lifts, and other equipment as necessary.

• Must be able to work well with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to pass confined space entry, forklift training, and other specialized training as needed.
• Must be safety conscious, aware of safety considerations related to the entire operation and report safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the operation of microprocessor/computer based controllers.
• Flexibility with scheduling (8‑hour or 12‑hour shifts, weekends).
• Ability to read, write, and a desire to learn about equipment (pipeline systems, flow paths).
• Ability to lift up to 55lbs regularly, position 100lbs, stand for extended periods of time, assemble equipment, and work safely in hot environment.
