1st Shift Assembly

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is hiring a full-time 1st shift Assembler for a well-established industry leader in North of Portage, WI. The position offers a 4‑day work week.

Shift: 1st shift – 6:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour, based on experience

• Read blueprints, schematics, and stand alone documents; grind, hang, and prepare parts for painting on paint line
• Assemble hydraulic equipment
• Document production as required
• Work in a team environment for production needs
• Perform MIG welding operations and set‑ups
• Fabricate components according to customer specifications, work orders, and blueprints

• 3-5 years of MIG welding experience in a production environment
• Proficiency with measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers; strong mathematical skills
• Blueprint reading and strong problem‑solving skills
• Previous assembly experience
• Attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment; understanding of entire process within the first 6 months
• Ability to stand on concrete for the duration of the shift; lift up to 30 lbs regularly; bend, lift, and twist throughout shift
• Ability to adhere to company safety guidelines
• High school diploma or GED
• Must provide own steel‑toe shoes
• Excellent work experience is a must
• Employee‑provided PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection (client provides); employee provides steel‑toed boots/shoes
