2nd Shift Electronics Assembler

Compensation: $19.00 / hour

In this role you will be responsible for the safe handling, inspection, assembly, packaging, and preparation of sensitive electronic components and electrical panel assemblies for shipment. This role involves mounting components, running wires between components, and completing final assembly of metal enclosures while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and production standards.

• Label, sort, and organize packaged materials for inventory and distribution.
• Follow and understand assembly instructions, including drawings, prints, and electrical schematics.
• Assist in employee development and continuous improvement as needed.
• Follow established work instructions, packaging specifications, and quality standards.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment and take corrective measures as needed.
• Identify and implement corrective actions for equipment troubleshooting.
• Understand electrical hardware design with associated drawings and bill of materials.

• Maintain working knowledge of applicable electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, IEC.
• Work efficiently without direct supervision.
• Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics.
• Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.
• Check work to ensure error-free products.
• Keep record of changes during manufacturing and submit to supervisor upon project completion.
• Maintain a neat, efficient and safe workplace.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, packaging, or warehouse experience (preferred).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills (preferred).

• Basic computer knowledge (required).

• The employee must continually lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include regular peripheral viewing, viewing length changes, close viewing with depth perception, and occasional distance viewing.
• Specific hearing abilities required include the need to perceive the spoken voice clearly and hear warning signals up to 70 dB with or without assistance.
• Specific speech abilities regularly required include comprehensible speech.
