CNC Machinist

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team in Madison, WI.
** Pay Rate: **$21/hr - $25/hr Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes, mills, or multi-axis machining centers

Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions to manufacture precision components

Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets for production runs Monitor machine performance and make program or tooling adjustments as needed

Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments

Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain product quality and minimize downtime

Replace worn tooling and perform routine machine maintenance as required

Maintain accurate production records and inspection documentation

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required1-3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings

Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.

Knowledge of G-code editing and basic CNC programming
