Rotogravure Press Operator - 8/5 Hiring Event
Amcor is hiring Rotogravure Press Operators to set up, run, and support rotogravure press machines in our Madison manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on production role for candidates with machine operation experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
Pay: $23–$25/hour based on experience
Night shift premium:
Additional $1.50/hour
Bonus: $4,000 referral bonus
Schedule:
12-hour shifts, 6 PM–6 AM
Fixed 4-3 rotation:
Sunday–Tuesday and every other Saturday or Wednesday–Friday and every other Saturday
What You'll Do
- Set up and run a Rotogravure 10-color press
- Monitor ink levels, viscosity, coatings, and substrate alignment
- Adjust color, register, and repeat lengths to meet specs
- Troubleshoot printing and web handling issues
- Inspect product quality and ensure documentation is complete
- Load/unload cylinders and assist with training
Must Have
- Machine operator, manufacturing, production, packaging, printing, or web handling experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a fixed 4-3 schedule
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance, safety focus, and teamwork skills
Preferred
- Accurate measurement skills
- Basic metric conversion knowledge
- Forklift or hand jack experience
- Experience helping train or guide team members
