CNC Programmer

As a CNC Programmer, you will develop, test, and optimize machining programs to produce high-precision components. This role involves selecting the best programming and machining methods, interpreting complex engineering drawings, and collaborating with engineering and shop floor teams to meet product requirements.

• Create, test, and refine CNC programs for lathes using CAD/CAM software
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and fixtures to maximize efficiency and reduce wear
• Interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T for accuracy
• Collaborate with machinists and setup operators to troubleshoot and validate programs
• Identify opportunities to improve cycle times and part quality

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot G-code and M-code
• Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Solid understanding of tooling and materials
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
• Experience in CNC programming within a precision manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
