Role DescriptionDeWitt LLP is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Marketing and Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for an early- to mid-career marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced professional services environment and is passionate about legal marketing and strategic communications.
The Coordinator will work closely with attorneys across multiple practice areas and offices to support initiatives that drive client development, strengthen the firm’s brand, and increase visibility in key markets.
Key Responsibilities Digital & Content Marketing- Maintain and manage the firm’s social media editorial calendar.
- Draft, edit, and update attorney biographies and practice descriptions.
- Write engaging, brand-aligned content for the firm’s website, marketing collateral, and thought leadership materials.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all internally produced content.
- Align internal and external content with broader marketing campaigns and brand strategy.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor messaging and contribute ideas to enhance content strategy.
- Develop, design, and execute firm-wide internal communications, including biweekly firm news alerts, internal social posts, and special initiatives.
- Keep the marketing section of the firm’s intranet current and well organized.
- Support the planning and execution of events, including CLEs, client seminars, webinars, conferences, and firm-sponsored outings.
- Coordinate logistics such as contracts, venue bookings, catering, invitations, and follow-up communications.
- Track RSVPs and prepare name badges, handouts, and presentation materials.
- Support sponsor ships by processing invoices, providing marketing materials, managing timelines, and fulfilling sponsorship deliverables (e.g., registrations, ad submissions, table attendees).
- Assist with post-event follow-up, including outreach and coordination of follow-up meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of tailored RFP responses, pitches, proposals, and presentations in collaboration with attorneys and the Business Development & Marketing team.
- Draft, edit, and proofread proposal and pitch materials.
- Research, write, and submit entries for awards, directories, and rankings.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing and business development efforts and recommend data-informed improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a professional services or B2B marketing environment (law firm experience preferred).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact.
- Working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Canva.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and tools, with familiarity supporting or managing Google Ad campaigns
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and colleagues across teams and offices.
This is a full-time position based in Brookfield, Madison, or Minneapolis. Employees are required to be on-site for a minimum of 3 days per week and may work remotely up to 2 days per week, subject to eligibility and performance.
