Department OverviewYou will be working at the yoga studio Main Street Yoga Center on the near East Side. We run yoga classes & series, including beginner classes. Half of your work will be on site 3/4 miles from campus. You will need to secure your own transportation and arrive on time for meetings and recording video / picture sessions.

ScheduleThe 3 - 6 hours per week are flexible.
In addition to financial compensation, you will receive unlimited free yoga classes during your tenure with us.
The ideal applicant should want to take yoga classes to have a sense of what our studio is like and convey it’s vibe / essence on social media.

QualificationsEducation:
(Desired) Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Experience in creating a brand voice for Social Media.
- Be able to write quality Marketing Copy, Convey a friendly and diplomatic vibe online, Handle & Seek Analytics, Capture moments that are engaging to an online audience.
- Platform Fluency:
Understanding of current social media algorithms and best practices across multiple platforms. - Software
Skills:
Familiarity with design and scheduling tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, or other similar tools is a major plus. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to capture a brand's unique voice. - Motivation:
Independently motivated and resourceful, using all available business sources to plan content.
- Content Creation:
Assist in planning, writing, and scheduling daily posts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook. Posts shall vary between short video snips (reels) and static posts. - Community Management:
Monitor direct messages (DMs) and comments to engage with the audience, build brand loyalty, and address customer inquiries. - Trend Research:
Track cultural moments, emerging trends, and competitor activity to pitch fresh content ideas. Collaborate with Marketing Director on generating new ideas and gathering marketing content from students, staff, etc. - Analytics & Reporting:
Gather performance metrics from platforms (like impressions, engagement rates, and follower growth) and assist in putting together campaign reports. - Photo/Video Shoot Support:
Assist the marketing team during photo or video shoots by organizing props, managing talent, or directing behind-the-scenes content. - Project Planning:
Plan social media posts in monthly increments, so that plans can be reviewed by the Marketing Director and then executed on.
Must be able to move up and down stairs easily and position yourself as needed to capture high-quality photos and videos.
