Lead Sponsorships Strategist

• Lead strategy, planning, and execution of high-profile, consumer-facing sponsor ships
• Manage relationships with assigned partners, agencies, and key stakeholders
• Maximize the value of sponsorship investments and align them with strategic priorities
• Develop integrated strategies and optimize sponsorship assets and benefits using insights
• Drive performance against business objectives and key performance indicators
• Provide leadership and direction for sponsorship and brand experiences
• Establish and develop the Marketing Sponsor ships unit’s strategic vision
• Develop high-profile marketing sponsorship strategies with marketing leadership and creative agency partners
• Research sponsorship marketing trends and program effectiveness
• Assess needs and objectives for partnership activations
• Contribute to portfolio evolution and future marketing growth goals
• Lead projects, project teams, and project phases for high-profile initiatives
• Manage portfolio activities including executive summaries, activation recaps, data analysis, and budget development and management
• Plan, implement, and manage sponsorship activations aligned with marketing strategy and divisional KPIs
• Analyze activation, digital campaign, and community support metrics to measure and optimize performance
• Communicate sponsorship results to marketing leadership and key partners
• Collaborate with marketing leadership, Creative Agency Teams, Sourcing and Procurement, and Legal on sponsor ships, activations, and contracts
• Report to the Senior Manager, Sponsor ships, Partnerships & Events
• Complete other assignments or participate in projects as required

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service
• Demonstrated experience effectively executing high level executive communication and presentations
• Demonstrated experience communicating complex marketing concepts to all levels of management
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of marketing concepts, strategies, sponsor ships, practices and tools
• Demonstrated experience overseeing high-level and larger scale sponsor ships and events
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and analytical thinking
• Demonstrated experience in data informed planning and decision making
• Up to 25% travel required
• Experience supporting a Marketing Sponsorship budget process
• Experience delivering executive-ready presentations
• Experience analyzing KPIs and presenting actionable insights
• Must work a minimum of 10 days per month from Madison, WI
• Must not require current or future sponsorship for employment
• Successful applicable background checks
• Must sign a non-disclosure agreement for proprietary information, trade secrets, and inventions

Demonstrates expertise in developing and executing high-profile marketing sponsorship strategies, managing complex projects, and analyzing performance metrics to drive business objectives. Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and deliver executive-ready presentations.
