The River is the largest and busiest food pantry in Dane County, distributing groceries each week to over 1000 households.
We are distributing boxes of groceries for curbside pickup outside of our facility. We need volunteers to help sort donations, pack boxes of groceries, and carry the boxes out to the clients. On Mondays, volunteers will be sorting and preparing for the curbside market. Tuesdays through Fridays, the market will be hosting curbside distribution, so volunteers will either be sorting, preparing boxes and carts of groceries, or loading groceries into clients' vehicles.
Volunteersare needed:
Monday
- 9:00am - 11:00am
- 11:00am - 1:00pm
- 8:45 am-11:45 am
- 11:30 am-1:30 pm
- 1:15 pm-3:15 pm
- 11:45 pm-2:00 pm
- 1:45 pm-4:00 pm
- 3:45 pm-6:15 pm
- 8:45 am-12:15 am
We are looking for healthy volunteers ages 16 and up. Court ordered community service volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
