Youth Coordinator Position

Congregation Shaarei Shamayim, a progressive Jewish community in Madison, Wisconsin, seeks a part-time (8-10 hours/week) Youth Coordinator to manage our children's education and youth programs in coordination with our rabbi. Candidates with the right qualifications and background could combine this position with the Events and Office Assistant position for one part-time position at 16-20 hours/week.

Congregation Shaarei Shamayim, a progressive Jewish community in Madison, seeks a Social Action Organizer to work with our volunteers and community partners. For 2025, our Social Action Committee will focus efforts on community work to support refugees and immigrants. This position is a temporary (about 5 months), part-time contract position. We are looking for a couple more bnei mitzvah tutors. Tutors are paid directly by the family and must know how to read Hebrew, be familiar with the Shabbat service, and chant Torah and Haftarah trope. Please contact Rabbi Laurie at rabbi.
