NP​/PA – Outpatient Gynecologic Oncology

Work Schedule

60% FTE, Monday–Friday between the hours of 7:45 am – 5:00 pm. 3 days a week.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:

• Provide comprehensive care to gynecologic oncology patients with varying acuity and diagnoses.
• Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments of oncology patients with acute health issues from cancer and cancer therapies (surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy).
• Perform history and physical, pre-operative visits, and post-operative visits.
• Discuss role and side effects of chemotherapy with patients and their family, manage and modify chemotherapy treatment plans, and obtain chemotherapy signing privileges.
• Perform in-office biopsies and procedures. Provide post‑op wound care.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide consistent high-quality care to our patients in active treatment or active surveillance setting.
• Effectively communicate with team members, patients, and families.

• If Nurse Practitioner:
  Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
• If Physician Assistant:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA Program.

• State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.

• Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice.
• Active board certification as a NP in an area of clinical practice. These may include the following:
  Adult;
  Adult/Gerontology Primary Care;
  Adult/Gerontology Acute Care;
  Family;
  Women’s Health.

• Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice.
• Active PA board certification.

• Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
• Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
