Position: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Hybrid Primary Care Float

Work Schedule

80% FTE, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No holidays or call. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.

Job Description

Be part of something remarkable As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play an integral role in building and expanding a virtual primary care program. You’ll be a part of the ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients both in person and virtually.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to:

Responsibilities
  • Be a part of a virtual care team expanding access to primary care through telehealth visits
  • Care for the acute and chronic needs of patients from newborn to elderly
  • Perform physical exams and manage the health maintenance needs of our family medicine population
  • Perform routine clinical procedures independently including wart removal, PAP smears and skin lesion removals
Education
  • For Nurse Practitioner:
    Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program
  • For Physician Assistant:
    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program
Experience
  • Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience
Licenses and Certifications
  • Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
  • For Nurse Practitioner:
    Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND active board certification as an NP in area of clinical practice (e.g., Family)
  • For Physician Assistant:
    Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND active PA board certification
  • All applicants must have an active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program
  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (Upon Hire Required)
  • Active board certification as an NP in area of clinical practice (Upon Hire Required)
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply (Required)
