Nurse Practitioner – Radiation Oncology

Madison, Wisconsin – University Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center

• Work with patients receiving radiation therapy for various oncologic conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive health history/physical assessment and engage in patient/family teaching.
• Manage radiation therapy side effects and survivorship issues.
• Collaborate with the treating radiation oncologist to manage treatment plans.

• Minimum Education for Nurse Practitioner:
  Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Minimum Education for Physician Assistant:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA Program.
• Licenses and Certifications (Nurse Practitioner):
  Active RN and APNP license in Wisconsin and active board certification as NP in adult or related specialty.
• Licenses and Certifications (Physician Assistant):
  Active PA license in Wisconsin and active PA board certification.
• All applicants must have an active DEA license (or ability to obtain one prior to hire) and CPR certification and advanced life support certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) as relevant.
