Per Diem Nurse - Gastro​/Endo

Job Description

Per Diem Registered Nurses must commit to work a minimum of forty‑eight (48) hours per six (6) week scheduling period in direct patient care. As applicable to operations, one shift should be an evening, night, weekend or holiday shift. You will be working at the Digestive Health Clinic located in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Gastro/Endo – Procedure to:

• Provide care, including patient triage, procedure preparation, intra‑procedure care, and post‑procedure recovery phases.
• Be an active member of the multidisciplinary team and collaborate in the development, execution, and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care or critical pathway.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)

• 6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience (required)
• Specific to EP Lab – Previous moderate sedation experience (required)
• Additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience (preferred)
• Prior involvement in clinical procedures in area of specialty, including successful work or involvement in other hospital‑wide project work (preferred)
• Experience in an academic medical setting (preferred)
• Specific to Gastro/Endo & Generations – Previous moderate sedation experience (preferred)

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations (upon hire required)
• Basic Life Support/CPR (upon hire required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months (required)
• Certification in area of specialty (preferred)
