• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12-hour shifts/week (Nights: 19:00–07:30 or Mid: 15:00–03:30; 12's and 8's as needed)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend & Holiday Rotation: Required
• Floating: May float to other units/locations as needed
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,090–$2,200

• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department RN experience (adult & pediatric) within the last 3 years
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in an Academic Level I Trauma Center or similar large hospital required
• Epic charting experience required (preferred within last 12 months)
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation and ability to pass a telemetry test prior to start
• Active Wisconsin RN or compact RN license (must be in hand at submission)
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association only); TNCC required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams, including ground ambulance and Med Flight for critically ill and injured patients
• Perform diagnostic interventions and immediate consultations for cardiac catheterization, trauma, acute stroke, burn care, and operative procedures
• Manage and monitor patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, polytrauma, and a wide range of emergency conditions
• Administer emergency medications, IV therapies, blood products, and provide procedural sedation when indicated
• Interpret and manage telemetry, EKGs, and arterial blood gases
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic and support ED throughput and quality metrics
• Participate in weekend/holiday rotations and float to other units as required
