Job DescriptionThe Nursing Assistant (CNA) practices and performs the basic nursing assistant procedures taught during their outside training and certification program. The CNA is expected to practice medical asepsis, respect the dignity and privacy of every patient, maintain objectivity during patient care, adhere to basic hospital safety policies and procedures, and practice within the scope of training. The CNA works under the close supervision of the Registered Nurse, receives written and oral work assignments, and completes them within the scheduled shift.
Work setting: 35 bed Med/Surgical unit providing high‑quality, compassionate care to complex surgical and medical patients in general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, ENT, plastics, and general medical cases.
