About the Position
90% FTE, 12‑hour day/night shifts with a weekend and holiday rotation. Competitive starting pay, shift and weekend differentials.
Location:
East Madison Hospital, Madison, WI.
- Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a professional environment that fosters collaboration, respect, and diversity.
- Care for general medical‑surgical patients, including select IMC patients, across a 27‑bed unit.
- Work in a collaborative environment with state‑of‑the‑art technology and evidence‑based practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes.
- Collaborate in developing, executing, and evaluating multidisciplinary plans of care.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Six months of inpatient nurse experience, or current participant in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the orientation on unit or similar unit (required).
- Relevant RN experience preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in WI or in a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact (required).
- Current CPR/BLS certification (required).
- Other relevant certifications preferred.
