Experience:
Minimum 3 years in high acuity hospital required.
Strong Pediatric ICU experience and at least 1 year of CV experience required.
Telemetry test must be passed prior to starting.
License:
Current RN license required.
Certifications:
AHA BLS and PALS required.
Must-Have:
EPIC experience is required.
Traveler may float as needed.
Able to demonstrate proficiency in telemetry and cardiac monitoring.
Description:
Join a highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team.
Provide family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families in a state-of-the-art unit.
Care for patients with a variety of complex medical and surgical problems.
Experience with acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, and organ transplantation is necessary.
Candidates should possess strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and airway management.
Responsibilities include care of ventilated patients, administration of medications, and monitoring of IV therapy.
Successful candidates will be involved in procedures such as central line management and telemetry monitoring.
Familiarity with pediatric dosage calculations and the management of pediatric patients is essential.
Knowledge of isolation precautions and infection control protocols is required.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to respond to rapid changes in patient conditions.
The position involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
