As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in the ambulatory care team by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients and their families.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
- Participate as a care team member in managing a panel of patients in partnership with our primary care physicians.
- Evaluate and treat acute and chronic health conditions and promote wellness in our outpatient primary care pediatric clinic.
- Provide counseling and education about common pediatric illnesses and promote wellness with patients and families.
- If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program
- If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA Program
Licenses and
Certifications:
Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include:
Pediatric Primary Care or Family Medicine. - Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*:
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
- Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
