The Registered Nurse performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation of an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols and care standards. The RN is responsible for direct and indirect care of patients through the supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

Works on a 45 bed Neuro/Med‑Surgical unit, providing direct nursing care to patients including acute stroke, chronic neurological illnesses, neurosurgery, general medical and surgical patients. The RN participates in a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team approach to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care.

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Other nursing degrees will be considered on an individual basis.
• Previous patient care experience (may be as a student in a clinical setting).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
• CPR certification or must complete certification within 3 months of hire.
• Must be available during the first 2 weeks of employment on the day shift to attend orientation.
