UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Perioperative to work at the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

60% FTE, every Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am – 7:30pm (may vary based on operational needs) - Shift differentials: $4/hour evening, $10/hour weekender
- Overtime available
- Communicate and coordinate Operating Room activities to facilitate efficiency in surgical case progression and turnover between cases.
- Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient care within policies, procedures, and standards and care plan to perioperative patients regardless of complexity.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Work experience:
6 months of recent independent PACU, Emergency Department, or Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU, Operating Room, or Surgical IMC experience required; 3 years of recent Operating Room or PACU experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations upon hire.
- Basic Life Support/CPR upon hire.
