Work Schedule
.90 FTE, 36 hours per week. This is a Night position with variable (8) eight- and (12) twelve-hour shifts between the hours of 11:00pm-7:30am and 7:00pm-7:30am. Every other weekend and Holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.
PayUW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.
- This position may be eligible for a $2,700 sign on bonus (pro-rated on the FTE).
- Additional components of pay include:
- Evening and night shift differential
- Weekend shift differential

Assistant ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to:
- Be a supportive partner with Registered Nurses on the unit.
- Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. NAs will assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, and intentional rounding.
- Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care.

- Graduate of State of Wisconsin approved Nurse Aid Training Program Required
- 1 year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant Preferred
- Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required
- BLS/CPR certification within 3 months Required
