Description:

This position requires managing a caseload of patients referred from a trauma center. The facility is a free-standing, acute inpatient rehabilitation facility with specialized programs for various conditions. The goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of recovery and facilitate their return home as soon as possible. The rehabilitation setting emphasizes maximizing health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs.

Candidates must be prepared to assist with patient care and support staff as needed. Attendance and punctuality are crucial. Mandatory breaks are 30 minutes, and two paid 15-minute breaks are included during shifts. Staff are expected to clock out for break times and cannot stay beyond their scheduled shift without approval. The patient population includes adults requiring high-acuity inpatient rehabilitation services.

Nurse-to-patient ratios are approximately 1:7. Equipment utilized includes mobility devices, vital machines, and electronic health record systems.
