Staff (80% FTE, 8/12 hour evening/night shifts with a weekend rotation)
Shift compensation includes evening and night shift differential, and weekend differential.
Responsibilities- Provide operational leadership and front‑line mentorship, serving as a clinical resource to ensure the delivery of safe, competent, and evidence‑based patient care.
- Partner with leadership to direct reports through the full employment lifecycle from hiring and scheduling to coaching and evaluation, fostering an engaging environment where staff practice at the top of their license.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage daily resource allocation and optimize patient throughput.
- Lead safety huddles, patient rounding, and audits to ensure compliance with ANA, Magnet, and regulatory standards.
- Lead with strong emotional intelligence to foster a culture of shared governance and continuous improvement, while effectively managing human and material resources to maintain fiscal responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing – Required.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or relevant field – Preferred.
- 2 years of relevant experience in clinical practice – Required.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the applicable level of care – Preferred.
- Management or supervisory experience with demonstrated success – Preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin or a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact – Required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification – Required.
- Current ACLS certification – Required.
- Certification in specialty area – Preferred.
