The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supports patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The CNA is expected to practice medical asepsis, respect the dignity and privacy of patients, and maintain objectivity during patient care. The CNA uses accurate verbal and written communication, adheres to hospital safety policies and procedures, and documents patient care within the scope of training.
A CNA maintains a safe and clean environment and keeps supplies stocked. Upon request, a CNA assists with orientation of new staff, including, but not limited to, nursing assistants.

Qualifications- State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- BLS certified or eligible for certification
- Must be available the first week of employment from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for CNA orientation
