Job Overview
UW Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice for a full‑time position kStreet, Madison, WI. The NP will serve on the advanced practice provider team, delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective care and coordinating services for patients across the clinic.

Work schedule:
Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric and AODA assessments of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Provide new and follow‑up psychiatric care, AODA treatment, medications, and psychotherapy as needed.
- Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion, and care coordination for patients with acute and chronic health needs.
- Education:
Minimum—Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited nursing program (Nurse Practitioner) or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA program (Physician Assistant). - Licenses and certifications:
Active RN and APRN license in Wisconsin and active board certification as an NP in Psychiatric‑Mental Health (for Nurse Practitioners); or active PA license in Wisconsin and active PA board certification (for Physician Assistants). - All applicants must hold an active DEA license or have the ability to obtain one prior to or upon hire.
