Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) RN with strong cardiac/thoracic surgical skills and at least 2 years of recent acute care experience for a travel contract in Wisconsin.

• Active WI RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience completed within the last 3 years
• Strong proficiency in cardiac and thoracic OR procedures required (CABG, ECMO, LVAD, VATS, thoracic robotics, etc.)

• Work in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) within a hospital setting
• Primary focus on cardiac and thoracic surgical cases including CABG, ECMO, LVAD, ascending aortic surgery, mitral valve repair/replacement, thoracic robotic surgery (Da Vinci Xi), lobectomy, VATS, and lung resection
• Shifts are 12 hours, primarily 6:40 AM–7:10 PM with a rotating biweekly shift of 9:40 AM–10:10 PM
• Schedule consists of 3x12-hour day/evening shifts per week
• Both weekday and weekend call are required
• Contract length is 17–21 weeks
• This is a Tier 2 cardiac-level position requiring advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgical competency
• Experience with the Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system is highly valued
