Job Description
This 13-week contract places you at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, working as an RN or LPN in inpatient rehabilitation. You will be primarily responsible for caring for adults with high-acuity needs, including stroke, brain and spinal injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic cases. The role operates on a 12-hour night shift, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend and holiday rotations.
As part of your duties, you will contribute to the recovery process, assist with mobility and safety, and help maintain a high standard of patient care in a setting that functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit. Epic experience is essential, and familiarity with inpatient rehab is preferred, making this a unique opportunity for nurses with specialized acute care backgrounds to make a meaningful impact.
Professional responsibilities also include responding to call lights, assisting with patient mobility, and collaborating with a dedicated team focused on patient recovery and returning home. The hourly gross pay for this assignment is approximately $1,254.54, with a commitment of 36 hours per week.
