100% FTE, Monday
- Friday, eight hour days between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. No weekends, holidays or call.
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
- Inpatient rounding, new consults, and follow ups with the hospitalist team related to medical complications of eating disorders and energy imbalance
- Outpatient work related to sexual and reproductive health, medical management of eating disorders, and other risk-taking behaviors
- Health at every size clinic approach
- Comfort with all gender identities, and sexual orientations
- Perform procedures including pelvic exams, nexplanon insertion and removals, and IUD insertion and removals
- If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
- If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Certifications:
- Minimum
- State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following:
Family, Pediatric Acute Care, or Pediatric Primary Care.
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
