American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMC position requiring telemetry, oncology, and cardiac experience along with a WI or compact RN license.

• Work in a hospital setting across two units: IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care (D6/5) and IMC Thoracic (B4/3)
• Care for telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown patient populations
• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am, Monday through Friday
• Every other weekend and some holidays required
• Uses Epic charting system
• Floating required as needed

• Active WI RN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty required
• Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Ventilator and transplant patient experience required
• Trauma Level II hospital experience required;
  Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required, ideally within the past 12 months
• Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting the assignment

• Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Additional clinical skills include IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, arterial line management, blood product administration, and PICC line management
• Respiratory care duties include BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube care, high flow nasal cannula, and ABG interpretation
• Additional experience areas include wound care/wound vac, IV insulin protocols, pre/post cardiac cath and surgery care, TR Band management, and pre/post hemodialysis management
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility to be considered; local candidates are not accepted
• Facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital ranked as Wisconsin's #1 hospital
