American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a WI or Compact RN license and two years of combined adult/pediatric ED experience.
Details- Work in a Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department treating combined adult and pediatric populations
- Evening ) and night ) shifts, primarily 3x12s with 8s as needed
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- Floating required as needed
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting the assignment
- Active WI RN license or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA only) required
- TNCC certification required
- Minimum of two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years required
- High acuity ED experience required
- Epic charting experience required, preferably within the past 12 months
- 40+ bed ED experience preferred
- Trauma Level II experience required, Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- At least one prior travel assignment of six months or more required, extensions highly preferred
- Experience with a broad range of ED skills including trauma care, cardiac monitoring, respiratory management, IV therapy, and psychiatric emergencies
- Care for patients across a wide range of ED presentations including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies
- Facility is a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
- References are not required for consideration
- First-time travelers are not eligible; at least one prior travel assignment of six months or more is required
