Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Madison, WI

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:40 AM – 5:10 PM) | Monday – Friday with one rotating day off per week | No weekends, no call, no holidays

• Perform circulating nurse duties within the operating room setting
• Provide perioperative nursing care in alignment with facility protocols and standards
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Float to other units or areas as needed based on staffing requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• OR circulation experience required
• Inpatient or ambulatory OR experience required
• Minimum two years of acute care experience in the specialty within the last three years
• BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; two attempts permitted with a possible third attempt upon submission of a cardiac interpretation review course certificate)

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity surgical cases and complex patient populations
