Job TitleRegistered Nurse – Operating Room (GU/GYN/Transplant)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:40 AM – 7:10 PM) | 3 shifts per week with potential for occasional evening shifts (9:40 AM – 10:10 PM) biweekly | Weekend rotation and weekday call requirement included
Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care for GU, GYN, and transplant surgical procedures including kidney and pancreas transplants, procurements, and nephrectomies
- Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures utilizing the Da Vinci Xi system for urological and gynecological cases
- Support a broad range of procedures including hysterectomy, cystectomy, ureteroscopy, HOLEP, laparoscopic gynecology, and anterior/posterior repair
- Float to other units as needed per facility requirements
- Participate in weekend rotation and on-call scheduling as required
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the applicable specialty
- Experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery
- Must pass a telemetry/cardiac rhythm interpretation exam (adult and pediatric) with a minimum score of 80%; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
- Experience with organ procurement procedures
- Familiarity with Da Vinci Xi robotic platform in a scrub or circulating role
- Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or high-acuity academic medical center
