Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 (12-hour shifts) Weekend
Hours:
Every other weekend and holiday rotations
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 13 weeks of experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting. The RN will manage high-acuity patient cases, primarily referred from a trauma center, within a 50-bed rehabilitation facility that offers comprehensive programs for patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services.
- Assist with daily patient activities and perform necessary medical procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure patient safety by actively answering call lights and assisting nursing assistants.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 skilled care environment.
- Inpatient rehabilitation or Med-Surg experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
