- Medical, Surgical, and Trauma ICU experience required.

- Required to pass Telemetry test prior to starting.

Description:

We are seeking an experienced critical care Registered Nurse (RN). Join a team of dedicated nurses who use compassion and teamwork to care for critically ill adult patients. Work in a fast-paced 24-bed ICU providing care to critically ill surgical, medical, and trauma patients in a Level One Trauma Center. Be part of an academic medical center and be involved in cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes.

Become an expert in using advanced life support therapies, including ECMO and continuous dialysis, to care for patients. Be part of a team that serves as emergency responders throughout the hospital. Care teams in the Trauma and Life Support ICU have received a prestigious award for excellence in critical care. This environment promotes collaboration, higher morale, and lower turnover among nursing staff.

The unit supports various interdisciplinary services such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy. Patient diagnoses include respiratory issues, post-code care, sepsis, GI bleeds, and post-operative management. Minimum experience includes two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty.

Pass/fail testing with strict criteria will be required prior to starting. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in identifying lethal rhythms during the telemetry exam.
