Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:40 - 19:10);
Day 3x12-Hour (09:40 - 22:10)

Description:

Day/Evening, 12-hr shifts,  with a potential of 1 shift that is  biweekly. Weekday and Weekend call required.

Will accept 17-21 week assignments TIER 2:
Cardiac. Strongest skills should be in cardiac/thoracic: ECMO, CABG(Coronary artery bypass graft), ascending, LVAD, thoracic, thoracic robot Davinci Xi, lobectomy, mitral valves, VATS, lung resection

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner. Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases. Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patient s level of complexity.

* REQUIRED:

level 1 or similar size hospitals and with high caliber of complex surgeries. Must have experience Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area (3 or above). #Tier3 Travel Compliance Floating :
Travelers are required to float as needed. Local Rule : 50 miles from the facility. Locals not accepted. Minimum experience :
Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to . References : please remove all references. Pass /Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria. A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts:
Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms:
Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3 rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher Attempts:
Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts the assignment will be cancelled.
