ICU Nurse
Registered Nurse Trauma ICU
Join a team of dedicated nurses who use compassion and teamwork to care for critically ill adult patients. Work in a fast-paced ICU providing care to critically ill surgical, medical, and trauma patients in a Level One Trauma Center. Be part of an academic environment and be involved in cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes. Become an expert in using advanced life support therapies, including ECMO and continuous dialysis, to care for patients.
Serve as emergency responders throughout the facility. The unit has received recognition for creating a positive and supportive work environment with greater collaboration, higher morale, and lower turnover. This role requires experience in arterial line management, chest tube insertion/removal assistance, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and ventilator management. You will provide care for patients with various conditions, including respiratory issues, sepsis, and trauma.
In this role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. You will also perform telemetry monitoring and manage patients with complex medical needs, including those with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
