This position requires a registered nurse with experience in cardiac telemetry and high-acuity settings. Candidates must possess current BLS and ACLS certifications. The shift consists of 12-hour days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The position requires availability for Monday through Friday shifts with every other weekend. Travelers will be required to pass a telemetry test before beginning their assignment. Responsibilities include the care of patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, and dysrhythmias.
The nurse will also manage titratable vasoactive drips and provide post-procedure care for cardiac procedures. The unit focuses on strong interdisciplinary collaboration for optimal patient outcomes. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes teamwork and quality improvement. Nurses will work to ensure patients receive thorough education and assistance throughout their care journey. This role offers opportunities for professional growth in advanced cardiac technologies and patient management.
Candidates should be prepared for potential floating to other units as necessary.
