Nurse Practitioner - Clinic Family Practice - $112K-157K per year

UW Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in a Clinic Family Practice in Madison, Wisconsin.

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 5 days a week, hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm. No weekends, holidays, or call.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high‑quality, cost‑effective care to patients.

• Conduct chart reviews
• Perform in‑person, telehealth, and potentially emergency in‑person consults
• Coordinate care team with Pre‑Anesthesia Medical Director or Site Physician and Surgical Team
• Order additional tests and medications as needed

• If Nurse Practitioner:
  Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
• If Physician Assistant:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA Program.

• Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
• If Nurse Practitioner:
  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND active board certification as a NP in the area of clinical practice (Adult, Adult/Gerontology Primary Care, Adult Acute Care, or Family).
• If Physician Assistant:
  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND active PA board certification.
• All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have an active DEA license or the ability to apply for such a license prior to or upon hire.
