Cardiac telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required. RN license required BLS & ACLS AHA only. Evening/Night, 12 hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am. Monday through Friday with every other weekend required.

Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Practice at University Hospital in Madison, ranked among the nation's top heart hospitals, and be part of a high-performing cardiac team delivering exceptional outcomes. Thrive in a fast-paced 23-bed cardiac/telemetry unit caring for intermediate and general cardiology patients, supported by central monitors throughout the unit and strong interdisciplinary collaboration. Provide expert care for patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, and dysrhythmias, including management of titratable vasoactive drips.

Partner closely with the Cardiac Cath Lab for pre- and post-procedure care, and collaborate with advanced heart failure teams managing pre-transplant and LVAD patients within a growing, innovative program. Grow with us: beginning this summer, the unit will expand to include external pacemaker management and a broader cardiac surgical population, creating exciting new opportunities to build expertise with advanced cardiac technologies in a high-acuity setting.
