American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse
- Operating Room for a Tier 4 general surgery role requiring 2 years of recent acute care OR experience and an active WI or compact RN license.

• Operating Room unit performing Tier 4 general surgery cases including HIPEC, Whipple, trauma, colectomy, burns, laparoscopic, Da Vinci Xi, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and organ procurements
• Day/Evening 12-hour shifts scheduled  weekly with potential for one  shift biweekly
• Weekend rotation required
• Weekday call requirement
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR used, required experience
• 13-21 week contract length accepted

• Active WI or compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years acute care RN experience within the last 3 years in the OR specialty
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start with strict adult and pediatric rhythm identification criteria

• Facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I trauma center ranked #1 in Wisconsin
• Performs OR duties across specialties including general surgery, trauma, gynecology, plastics, robotics, endoscopic procedures, transplant, ENT, and thoracic surgery
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted
• Parking permit required through university transportation if parking onsite, with alternative transportation options available
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Up to three attempts allowed to pass required testing, with a cardiac interpretation review course completion certificate needed before a third attempt
