Registered Nurse Operating Room

This position requires a Registered Nurse to work in the Operating Room specializing in a variety of surgical procedures. The Nurse will support surgical teams and provide patient care during various operations. Daily shifts run from early morning to evening, with the potential for occasional night shifts. Weekend rotation and weekday on-call duties are required. Candidates must have proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and be familiar with infection control protocols.

A telemetry exam will be required prior to hire, with strict passing criteria. Only applicants who meet the experience and certification requirements will be considered. Candidates must be capable of floating to assist in other areas as needed. This is an opportunity to work in a prestigious facility known for excellence in patient care and surgical outcomes. Experience:

2 years of experience required License: RN license required (pending license accepted)

Certifications:

BLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: 2 years of Operating Room experience Ability to handle various surgical procedures including General Surgery, HIPEC, Whipple, trauma, colectomy, burns, laparoscopic, Davinci Xi, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and procurements Comfortable with transitioning from laparoscopic to open surgical techniques Experience in surgical oncology, trauma emergencies, and organ procurement required
